Titles of Duty (Expanded descriptions)

The Knight Envoy:
Though there is little need for actual diplomacy in the Ebon Blade, sometimes issues arise in relations with the various powers of Azeroth that require the attention of the Order and a more delicate ''diplomatic'' approach. The Knight Envoy then comes in.
Drafted from the ranks, an Envoy is an individual with expanded duties and more freedom of action than most officers in the Order. Scholars and educated men and women in life, their talents are set to use by the Order as messengers, diplomats, the voice, eyes and ears of the Order among the allies.
Their duties vary according to the situation at hand, but usually include solving situations regarding the relations and behaviour of Death Knights (Unbound, Errant or Marked) among the allies, investigating incidents where the said Knights are involved and keeping a line of communication open, even a small one, with the various allied nations and powers.
Unlike most Titles of Duty, an Errant Knight can become an Envoy to his or her respected former racial power, utilising their knowledge of the said race, customs, attitude and mindset to further promote co-operation for mutual benefit.
The Envoy reports directly to the Wordbringers and, even more so, to the Order's Herald (some argue that Envoys fall directly to the Herald's authority. That is not precise. An Envoy reports to the Herald due to these issues falling in her field of duty and the Wordbringers as peers and same rank as the Herald). Do note, an Envoy is not above other Officers, but his or her word is above another officer when issues with local authorities arise.
Above all, a Knight Envoy (or simply Envoy) represents at all times the Knights of the Ebon Blade and it is part of her or his duty to maintain a good standing and decent ''public profile'' for the Order among the allies.
